So shampooing is my absolute favorite part of the week. I shampoo my hair every 5 days. There is nothing like fresh smelling hair! One of the most important tips I use while shampooing is sectioning hair into 4 big sections. This decreases shedding and is great to prevent tangles in the hair.
1. Section Hair
You can choose how many sections works for you best. I choose 4 sections because that is what works for my hair. You can use your fingers or a rat tail comb to part the hair, I always use the end of a comb to part my hair. After sectioning hair you can use clips or anything of your choice to hold those sections together, however I use the clips as shown in the picture above to keep my sections in order.
2. Apply shampoo
After sectioning off my hair I take the first section and work the shampoo from my scalp to the ends. I apply shampoo on my scalp first because that's where the dirt and oils com from first. After adding my shampoo and working it through I rinse that section and pin it back up right after rinsing. Complete these shampooing steps into you get to the last section.
3. Conditioner time
While the hair is still in 4 sections after
rinsing the shampoo out of each section individually I then apply the conditioner. I apply the conditioner from ends to roots because the ends are the driest and needs the most attention moisture wise! I complete these steps on every 4 sections pinning each section back up after applying my conditioner to each section.
4. Style Hair
After rinsing shampoo and conditioner in these 4 sections I then style. When I rinse out
the shampoo and conditioner I do keep it in
these 4 sections so the tangling process is
decreased while styling!
